Family Child Care
Family Child Care homes are established in government quarters in which child care services are provided on a regular basis to one or more children for more than 10 hours a week.  Family Child Care homes offer quality child care!  Quality child care includes a warm nurturing provider, in a home environment.  The providers offer activities that encourage your child to develop mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally in the best possible ways.

A Family Child Care provider is an individual, at least 18 years of age, who is licensed by the Air Force to provide home-based child care for children on a regular basis.  These providers have received training in various areas of child development, nutrition, safety, fire prevention, first aid, and CPR.

Child Development Centers (CDC).
There are two CDCs on base, the main facility is on Gibson Blvd and there is one in Maxwell Housing area. Please contact the CDC for the most current information.

Hourly care is only on space available basis. Telephone by 0900 the day care is required to find out if space is available. There is also a two hour minimum with hourly care at the rate of $3 per hour.

Infant, toddler, and school-age care is available; the rate varies depending on the program and there is a waiting list.
