Full time care is provided for infants, toddlers, and preschool. Weekly care is based on a priority basis (1) single/dual active duty, (2) active duty working spouse, (3) retirees, (4) DOD. A waiting list is maintained separately for different age groups: Infants, Pre-Toddlers, 2 year olds, 3 year olds, and 4/5 year olds. Parents with children on the waiting list are obligated to contact the Child Development Center at the beginning of each month to verify the need for service. Failure to call and update information will result in the child's name being removed from the list. The Military Child Care Act of 1989, requires the Office of the Secretary of Defense to prescribe uniform fee regulations for Military Child Development Centers Worldwide. Fees are based on total family income and apply to all children attending on a regular basis.

Registration fee is $35.000 per child, non-refundable. Following is a pay range and a weekly fee scale: CATEGORY 1ST CHILD $0 - $23,000 50.00 Per Week $23,001 - $34,000 $58.00 Per Week $34,001 - $44,000 $71.00 Per Week $44,001 - $55,000 $83.00 Per Week $55,001 - 69,999 $98.00 Per Week 70,000 + $111.00 Per weekThe Camden County School System is pleased to offer an after-school daycare program at all Elementary Schools beginning on the first day of school.  The program is provided as an extension of the school day and is not available on school holidays or teacher work days.  This program is recreational (not educational) in nature. To enroll in the Extended Day Program, you need to complete an Enrollment Card (one per child); Health Form (one per child); Parental Agreement (one per family); and return all forms to the Site Manager at your child's school; pay your annual registration fee/non-refundable; and pay your daycare fees for the first week. Extended Day Program Sites are open from 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.  Drop-in Students are welcome if space is available for them.  Drop-in rates are $2.00 per child per hour (or any fraction thereof).  On the twenty-first day a child attends as a drop-in, he/she owes the registration fee.  Reduced rates are available for students who receive free or reduced school lunches. Parents of students with special needs must contact the Extended Day Program office (729-8893) to schedule a conference to evaluate the child's particular daycare needs.  This conference must take place at least 48 hours prior to the child's first date of attendance.  Contact Donna Grice at 729-8893 for additional information.
