Adult Sports and
Aquatics
The MWR Kings Bay Fitness/Sports Complex includes gymnasium,
fitness center, Wally ball and racquetball courts, indoor and outdoor volleyball
and basketball courts, three lighted softball fields, one
lighted-football/soccer field with quarter-mile running track, lighted tennis
courts, and large pool with water slide.

Fitness Center
The Fitness Center includes
gymnasium, fitness center, wally ball and racquetball courts, indoor and outdoor
volleyball and basketball courts, and a large pool with water slide. Fitness
Center staff also provides orientation on all fitness equipment and facilities.
Specialty classes given in the center include water aerobics, Tae Kwon Do,
Kickboxing, Cycling, Power Abs, Strength Training for women, high-energy aerobic
training (H.E.A.T.), and Boot Camp programs. A Certified Personal Trainer
conducts personalized fitness training, nutrition education, and consultations.

MWR Kings Bay Youth Sports
MWR Kings Bay Youth
Sports program provides an organized, recreational sports program in the
following sports: Fall & Spring Soccer, basketball, T-ball, baseball. This
recreational program offers a wide variety of sports to enhance social,
emotional, and physical development of participants in a wholesome environment.
The emphasis of the program is on sportsmanship, individual/team participation
rather than winning and losing, and to provide youth with caring positive role
models through a trained volunteer staff.

RECREATION
MWR Kings Bay Auto Skills
Center
The MWR Kings Bay Auto Skills Center is one of the most
popular facilities within the department. The facility is well
equipped with supplies available for completing major and minor automotive
repairs. The center is equipped with six indoor stalls, and additional outdoor
stalls to provide space for most types of automotive repair or preventive
maintenance.

Trident Lakes Golf
Course
Trident Lakes Golf Club is a 220-acre, 18 hole golf course
designed by Arthur Hills and Associates. Course contains a putting green,
chipping green, large driving range, and houses a fleet of 65 gas golf carts.
Golf instruction is available in both private and clinic form. The golf course
is a member of the USGA, National Golf foundation, and Georgia Golf Association.

MWR Kings Bay Information, Tours & Travel
(ITT)
The MWR Kings Bay Information, Tours & Travel (ITT) office
provides the SUBASE community with information, attraction, entertainment,
sporting event tickets, and leisure travel opportunities including group cruises
and hotel accommodations. Tickets are available to military and
civilian patrons at discount prices.

MWR Kings Bay Liberty Single
Sailor and Marine Program (Oscar's)
Oscar's houses 21 computers with
DSL Internet access, 10 TV's connected to cable and Play Station
2's. Headphones are used so all can enjoy the area, and this is one
of the most popular area's within Oscar's. A 50" plasma TV for
everyone's enjoyment is located in the center of the facility. Two
billiard tables, a ping-pong table, and a video arcade with six games, rounds
the center with something for everyone to do. There is also a shuttle that runs
to Jacksonville Beaches, Jacksonville Landing, and Jacksonville area malls on
the weekends. There is minimum age requirement of 18 and a fee to use the
shuttle service.

MWR Kings Bay Outdoor Adventure
Center
The MWR Kings Bay Outdoor Adventure Center offers a large
variety of rental items to enhance leisure skill activities for our military
members and dependent families. Boats, canoes, tents, campers, cots, sleeping
bags, lanterns, rods and reels, bicycles, log splitters and gas cans. With a
SUBASE Fishing permit and Georgia State Fishing License, fisherman can apply
their skills in "Lake D," or several other smaller ponds that contain Bass,
Brim, and Catfish. Small boats with a battery and trolling motor are permitted
on SUBASE lakes and ponds.
You must register your boat with MWR Kings
Bay Outdoor Adventure to use it on the Lakes on SUBASE. There is a fee for boat
registration.
MWR Kings Bay Outdoor Adventure has the documents required
for boat registration in the State of Georgia.

MWR Kings Bay Bowling Center (Rack N' Roll
Lanes)
The Kings Bay Bowling Center features 16 Mendez True Synthetic
bowling lanes, and AMF BOSS automatic scoring system. League and open bowling
are available for all ages and all skill levels. Bowling party packages are
available and are a good value.

MWR Kings Bay RV Park
The MWR Kings Bay RV
Park has a complement of 50 RV sites inside the park. Each site has a 20'x40'
paved pad, water, sewage, 30 & 50-amp electrical hook-ups, a picnic table
and fire ring. Five sites are ADA accessible. A cozy community center
is available on the grounds providing a meeting area, ADA bathhouse and laundry
room equipped with FREE washers and dryers.
Fishing is available nearby in
ponds and lakes, with a SUBASE Fishing permit and Georgia State Fishing License.
Both are obtainable from the MWR Kings Bay Outdoor Recreation
Center.

The Navy Boys & Girls Club of Kings
Bay
The Navy Boys & Girls Club of Kings Bay offers a variety of
leisure programs for youth and teen, kindergarteners through 18 years of
age. Among the various programs offered are: School Age
Care (SAC), Day Camps, Teen Supreme and Summer Hire Program, Parent's Night Out
and special seasonal holiday events.

RELIGIOUS SERVICES
The Naval Submarine Base
Kings Bay Chapel is located directly across from the Navy Exchange at 1220 USS
Daniel Boone Drive. The Chapel provides Roman Catholic Masses and
Protestant Worship Services. We also have daily Roman Catholic Masses
Monday-Thursday.
Catholic Mass is held daily with Confessions and Rosary
conducted 1/2 hour before Mass.
