Navy Child Development Program consist of Child Development Center (CDC) and  Child Development Home (CDH) and resources and referral.  The primary goal is to assist employed parents, both military and civilian and active duty spouses who are full time students in locating options for child care.

The CDC opened a new facility in 2001.  They provide care for children 6 weeks to 5 years.  Full day care is provided for up to 10 hours from 0630-1730.  Hourly care is on a space available basis with advance registration.  Special opening are by request.  USDA approved meals and snacks are provided.After school child care programs are offered at most schools.  The MWR Boys and Girls Club provides after school care and a summer camp for youths.
