Sesame Street Coming!

Beloved "Sesame Street" characters like Elmo and Grover will visit more than 40 military installations this year to entertain families with a free one-hour show.
The production, sponsored by United Service Organizations, travels across the country with the first show July 8. A stop is scheduled at Fort Dix, N.J., Oct. 18.
The tour is part of Sesame Workshop's Talk, Listen, Connect initiative, a military outreach program, which launched in 2006. The initiative provides support and offers significant resources for military families with young children experiencing the effects of deployment, multiple deployments or when a parent returns home changed due to a combat-related injury.
