There are several resources in the local community to support
families affected by domestic violence.
The Women's Center for
Non-Violence operates a 24-hour crisis line, temporary shelter for victims,
individual/group counseling for victims of sexual assault, rape crisis program,
medical/economic referrals, advocacy community education and anger management
programs.
The Mississippi Help Line provides a 24-hour emergency phone
service, 7 days a week, staffed by trained volunteers.
