Kalaheo High School (grades 9 & 12) is the Windward
District public schools for those students residing in housing
aboard MCBH, Kaneohe Bay.
A GEOGRAPHIC EXCEPTION may be
requested for a student to attend another school for special reasons, such
as obtaining courses not offered in the student's home
school.
Requests for a geographic exception should be
initiated by the student's home school and must be approved by the
principals of both the home and receiving school. Denial of a
request for geographic exception may be appealed to the District
Superintendent.
This secondary school, which is located closest to
the base, participates in a Youth Sponsorship Program.
This school

paradise" who are anxious to correspond with students of the same grade
levels who will soon be stationed at MCBH.
