If arriving in Jacksonville by car via I-10, or I-95, take the I-295 south exit and head towards Orange Park. Take exit 10 to Hwy 17 and go north approximately two miles to the main gate entrance to NAS Jacksonville.
Jacksonville International Airport (JIA) Location: North side of the city off Interstate 95. A $100 Million expansion makes it a showcase of modern transportation, providing direct passenger service to more than 60 cities. The USO has a military liaison office located on the first level near the baggage claim area. This office is currently open from 9:00AM - 9:00PM and can be reached by calling (904) 741-6655. If your sponsor has not come to meet you and you need assistance, visit this office. Routine military transportation between the airport and local area bases is not yet available. A Taxi ride from JIA to NAS Jacksonville costs about $30.00.
Jacksonville is also serviced by an AMTRAK Train Station, the Jacksonville Transit Authority (JTA) providing local Bus Transportation, Greyhound Bus Lines, and several taxi and limousine services.
