The Naval Dental Center is located on board NAS Jacksonville in Bldg. 964, between Enterprise & Birmingham Avenues, adjacent to the active duty medical clinic. Dental Sick Call hours are 7:30-10:45 am, and 12:30-3:00 pm Mon-Fri.
Military Retirees can be seen on a space-available basis. To be considered, report for sick call and be seen as space-available. Any follow-up treatment, i.e. cleaning, fillings will also be done on a space-available basis.
Emergency After Hours, please call. 904-542-3441 After hours emergencies are treated by an on-board dental technician and an on-call dental officer.
Enrollment of family members in the TRICARE Family Members Dental Plan (TFMDP) is highly encouraged due to very limited space available. By law, family members enrolled in the insurance plan are not eligible for treatment at the military dental facilities for any dental procedures covered by the plan.
The Dental Insurance plan is widely accepted by civilian dentists in the Jacksonville area!
