To be eligible to register in the Military Spouse Program you must be married to an active duty service member who has PCS orders, and be a current federal appropriated fund employee or have reinstatement eligibility or eligibility from an overseas appointment. Due to the downsizing of the federal government, local federal DOD occupations are not too plentiful, in fact a hiring freeze has been implemented for DOD occupations within the SE Region. This does not mean there are not opportunities with other federal agencies. You must be persistent in your job search.
