The Child Development Center is located in building 705 on Child St. and provides full-time and drop-in care for children ages six weeks of age through five years.  Infants must have documentation of a well-baby check-up to qualify for care.

Full-time includes up to ten hours of care each weekday (excluding Federal Holidays).  Priority for full-time care is given to single and dual-military families.  Weekly fees are based on the total annual family income, as regulated by the Department of Defense.  Weekly patrons must provide the CDC with financial information and the most recent leave and earnings statements (LES) and/or paycheck stubs to determine weekly fees. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks are provided each day by the CDC.

Drop-in care is available on a limited space available basis.  Reservations are accepted up to one week in advance. School Age Care is available for family members of military and DOD personnel for children ages Kindergarten - twelve years, attending Venetia Elementary School.

Trained counselors help children with homework, arts & crafts, nature and other activities. All counselors have experience in Childhood Education and are CPR & First Aid certified.  Contact the Youth Activities Center for additional information.
