Many of the local civic organizations recruit
volunteers from Navy personnel and their families to work in the many festivals
that our area is known for. Opportunites exist to work with children in their
school environment. Scouting organizations are a great way to spend
your time. Some of the organizations you might consider volunteering
to assist include: The Red Cross, USO, High School NJROTC, Police
departments, Nursing homes, etc. Contact the Ingleside Family Service
Center Programs Coordinator, for volunteer opportunities.
