Personnel reporting to Naval Station Ingleside should contact the Naval Station Administrative Office or the tenant command or ship to which they are reporting.  If you are in receipt of orders to a Mine Countermeasures Rotational Crew or your ship is underway, it is suggested you contact Personnel Support Activity Detachment at (361) 776-4653 for information and any special instructions.  The Personnel Support Activity Detachment, located in the Headquarters Building is open to help incoming personnel.  If you are checking in after normal working hours, the Naval Station, all tenant activities, and ships have a Command Duty Officer or Staff Duty Officer to help.  See Major Unit Listing for additional phone numbers.Arriving by auto - the Naval Station is located on FM 1069, approximately 4 miles from downtown Ingleside off of Highway 361.

The Corpus Christi International Airport is located approximately 40 miles northwest of the Naval Station.  There is no bus service available to the Naval Station.  If you fly into Corpus Christi, you are reminded to call the appropriate 1-800 number for transportation to the Naval Station prior to contracting with a taxi or airport limo Service.  The 1-800 numbers are posted in the baggage claim area.  Look very closely as the signs are small.

REMEMBER IF YOU GET LOST OR NEED ASSISTANCE CALL THE NAVAL STATION CDO AT (361) 813-3663 or (361) 776-4254.

Arriving after normal working hours:  Unaccompanied - The first stop is to check in with the CDO or SDO of the activity of which you are going to be attached.  If you are in receipt of orders to a ship that is deployed, it is suggested you contact Personnel Support Detachment Ingleside at (361) 776-4653 or contact one of the SDOs listed below.  The next stop will be BEQ (Billeting Office-Building 130) where the service member will be assigned quarters.  The service member will then be required to report to the Personnel Support Detachment (PSD) Building 100 the next working day at 0800.

Accompanied - If the service member is accompanied, the first stop is to check in with the CDO or SDO of the activity of which you are going to be attached.  It is also suggested that you contact Personnel Support Activity Detachment Ingleside at (361) 776-4653. If permanent quarters have not been acquired, prior to the service members check in, temporary quarters will need to be obtained.  You can contact the Navy Lodge which is located onboard NAS Corpus Christi to see if any rooms are available.  They can be reached at 1-800-NAVY-INN. If the Navy Lodge is full you will have to find accommodations in the local community.  The service member will then be required to report to the Personnel Support Detachment (PSD) Building 100 the next working day at 0800.
