Volunteering provides an excellent opportunity to learn new
skills, try different work settings, explore career options, or just meet and
make new friends.
The Family Support Volunteer Resource Program (VRP)
serves as the central clearinghouse for volunteers providing information about
volunteer opportunities in the local community. Opportunities are
available in a variety of settings including the United Way, Meals On Wheels,
Habitat For Humanity, American Red Cross, and more.
Referrals are made
directly to the agencies. Selection of volunteer placement is up to
the agency.
