There are two forms of public transportation in our
county. The Wave is a bus service open to the public that covers the
Fort Walton Beach area Monday thru Friday, and has many convenient
stops.
The other form of public transportation is Okaloosa
Coordinated Transportation which is a door-to-door service open to everyone in
the county. Reservations must be made in advance, and all ride
requests are subject to time and space availability. Before you can
use this service, you must fill out an application at either of their two office
locations, Fort Walton Beach, (850)833-9168 or Crestview,
(850)689-7813.
The Okaloosa County Transit bus schedule can be found

the web site listed in contacts. they have a red bus and blue bus and run
opposite of each other.
