The Hurlburt Dental Clinic provides dental care for active duty
patients Monday - Friday, 0700-1700. Dental sick call is at 0700 and
1230 hours. Dental check-ups and cleanings are scheduled through each
squadron's unit health monitor.
The 16 MDG primarily provides dental
care to active duty members. Family members are encouraged to enroll
in the TRICARE Dental Program (TDP). You can enroll in the TDP by
visiting the Health Benefits Advisor or at the TRICARE website listed under
"contacts/links". Retirees and their dependents can enroll in the
TRICARE Retiree Dental Plan by visiting our Health Benefits Advisor or at the
website.
Dental care for family members and retirees is currently
limited to emergency care only. Emergencies are defined as acute
trauma, bleeding, and infection with swelling. After-hours dental
emergencies may be evaluated through the 96 MDG's (Eglin AFB) emergency
room.
