Tuttle Army Health Clinic, located on the installation serves
active duty soldiers, their family members and retires and their family members.
Care unavailable at Tuttle Clinic is usually available at Winn Army Community
Hospital (WACH) at Fort Stewart, on Harmon Avenue across from the National
Guard Headquarters. Clinic appointments are available for
the Outpatient Clinic, Family Practice Clinic, Pediatric Clinic, and referrals
done for specialty clinics. For the well-being of our patients, young children
should not be brought into the clinic unless they have a scheduled appointment.
Only children with an appointment for medical care are allowed in the clinics.
Missed appointments compromise our ability to provide you quality care and
hinder our ability to meet TRICARE access standards. If you are not able to make
your appointment please call to cancel. Dental care for active-duty military
personnel is available, depending on the individual's unit of assignment. Dental
care for family members at the DENTAC is on a limited basis only. Under DoD
regulations, family members of active-duty sponsors with two or more years
remaining (one year if returning from OCONUS) on active duty are eligible for
enrollment in the TRICARE Family Member Dental Plan and must receive their care
through private sector dental offices. Care for those eligible is limited to
"backup" emergency care in which a civilian provider has not been able to
provide the necessary treatment. Family members not eligible for the insurance
plan and their family members, have been authorized to receive emergency
services and limited space-available care on a standby basis.
