The New Parent Support Program is a program designed to help
parents with parenting issues. Our target population begins with pregnant moms
and we assist families with children through five years of age. We are social
workers and nurses who specialize in "being there" as a support system, sounding
board, and special information resource person. We provide regular visitation to
you and your family at your convenience and by appointment only. We will work
with you individually on a wide range of parenting issues or concerns from
breast-feeding to potty training. We will educate you about your child's growth
and developmental stages and what to expect and how to deal with it. We are also
resource "experts" on getting the best possible assistance for your wants and
needs. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 0800 until 1630
(8:00a.m.- 4:30p.m.). All home visitors are on pagers for emergencies and stay
in close touch with their families.
