Whether you are assigned to Ft. Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield, all personnel must report to Ft. Stewart for inprocessing. The 3rd Replacement Detachment maintains SIDPERS accountability for all new soldiers until they are fully inprocessed and moved to to their unit. Service members in grades E-5 and below are assigned to the detachment during inprocessing procedures. After inprocessing is completed soldiers are then sent to Hunter Army Airfield.
