maintenance of assigned portions of computer and communication systems within
the Pacific and Indian Ocean region.
AFROTC Det 175-Manoa, HI
The
quality of military instruction and education at AFROTC Detachment 175 is the
nation's finest and second to none. The cadre consists of five officers - a
commander (Professor of Aerospace Studies), and four academic instructors
(Assistant Professors of Aerospace Studies). The cadre and staff bring
real-world Air Force operational experience to their classrooms.

Located at Waimanalo Bay on the Windward side of Oahu,
approximately 8 miles south of MCBH Kaneohe. Bellows AFS consists of
1,495 acres of land, of which 586 acres are used for training. Training
activities include ground maneuvers of platoon and company size amphibious
maneuvers, and helicopter operations.

member of the 22nd Space Operations Squadron based out of Schriever Air Force
Base, CO and part of the Air Force Satellite Control Network. 24-Hour operation
includes supporting warfighters, the National Command Authority
and NASA's space shuttle and allied spacecraft missions.

The Air Force Maui Optical Station
(AMOS),is located at the summit of Haleakala, on the island of Maui. It is part
of the Maui Space Surveillance Site (MSSS). The mission of AMOS is to conduct
research and development of new and evolving electro-optical sensors, as well as
to provide support for operational missions defined by US and AF Space Command.
JICPAC-Pearl Harbor, HI
The Joint Intelligence Center Pacific
(JICPAC) provides direct intelligence support for all military forces assigned
to the Commander, United States Pacific Command (CDRUSPACOM). As the center for
intelligence support, JICPAC provides 24-hour, all-source, global intelligence
to the Commander, the Commander's staff, component commanders, and operators.
JICPAC provides operational intelligence for both maritime and overland
operations.
SOCPAC-Camp Smith, HI
Special Operations Command, Pacific
is a joint command with a headquarters staff consisting of approximately 530
Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps officers and enlisted personnel. The
mission of SOCPAC is to enhance security and peace throughout the Asia-Pacific
region by deterrence, response and "fighting to win".
