Having a child is a very exciting time in your life. We can help
your family with the first steps into parenthood by providing the following
support resources:
NEW PARENT SUPPORT PROGRAM
A program for Air Force
families with a baby on the way up to age three. Participants include
active duty members, their spouses, their dependents, retired Air Force,
activated Hawai'i Air National Guard and activated Air Force reservists. Family
Advocacy is the sponsoring agency for this program.
-A registered nurse
will work with you to schedule home or office visits from the time you are
pregnant until you celebrate your baby's third birthday. The nurse
will help you learn about pregnancy, labor and delivery, infant care, child
growth and development, and parenting. The nurse will also provide
support, health education, nutritional information and assist you with any
concerns you may have. Participation in the program will also provide
you access to a book and video lending library, a gift bag, Infant Play and
Learn sessions and a variety of other services.

voluntary program and all services available are FREE of charge and provided by
New Parent Support Program located at 655 Vickers Avenue, Building 1105 at Life
