Having a child is a very exciting time in your life. We can help your family with the first steps into parenthood by providing the following support resources:

NEW PARENT SUPPORT PROGRAM
A program for Air Force families with a baby on the way up to age three.  Participants include active duty members, their spouses, their dependents, retired Air Force, activated Hawai'i Air National Guard and activated Air Force reservists. Family Advocacy is the sponsoring agency for this program.

-A registered nurse will work with you to schedule home or office visits from the time you are pregnant until you celebrate your baby's third birthday.  The nurse will help you learn about pregnancy, labor and delivery, infant care, child growth and development, and parenting.  The nurse will also provide support, health education, nutritional information and assist you with any concerns you may have.  Participation in the program will also provide you access to a book and video lending library, a gift bag, Infant Play and Learn sessions and a variety of other services.

-This program is a voluntary program and all services available are FREE of charge and provided by New Parent Support Program located at 655 Vickers Avenue, Building 1105 at Life Skills Flight, (808)449-0175 or 76.
