TRAFFIC:

The speed limit on Henderson Hall is ten miles per hour, unless otherwise posted, and is enforced by Military Police.  Seat belts are required at all times while driving on base.  Parking of motor vehicles is authorized only in those areas designated for parking.  Pedestrians in crosswalks have the right of way.

VEHICLE CHECKS:

All vehicles entering or leaving Henderson Hall are subject to search.

ACCIDENTS:

The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident, or collision, shall immediately, by the quickest means available, notify the Provost Marshal's Office of the circumstances, location, number and extent of injuries, and other such information which will assist Military Police and emergency services in reaching the scene.

INSTALLATION REGISTRATION:

Installation vehicle registration is mandatory. When registering, you will need to submit the following to PMO: Proof of Insurance, Valid Drivers License, Vehicle Safety Inspection Certificate, Vehicle Registration, and Military ID.

FISHING LICENSE (State):

When authorized by the commanding officer of a military reservation, a member of the U.S. armed forces on active duty may purchase a resident license to fish on that reservation only.
Unnaturalized owners of real property in Virginia who have resided in a county for five years immediately prior to making application for a license may apply for resident licenses only in
the county where they qualify. It is unlawful to fish on waters of any public or private club, association or preserve without a proper license. Fishing Licenses are sold at many sporting goods stores.  Copies of the fishing regulations are also available, free, upon request.  Read below for contact information.

HUNTING LICENSE (State):

Licenses and permits are good from July 1 through June 30. This period constitutes a "license year" as referred to in seasons and bag limits.  Licenses are sold by some clerks of the Circuit Courts and other authorized agents. See below, information to contact the Richmond or Regional Offices for further details.  You must have a Hunter Education Card or proof of a valid Hunting License from another state before you will be issued a Hunting License in Virginia or Maryland.  Hunting Licenses are sold at most sporting goods stores.  Copies of the state hunting regulations are also available, free, upon request.

FIREARMS REGISTRATION:

Check with the local Police Department in the city/county in which you reside for information concerning firearms registration.  The requirements vary for each location.
