Limited dental services are provided at the Arlington Navy Annex Dental Clinic. Most of the specialty care is referred to the Branch Dental Clinic at the Washington Navy Yard. The Annex personnel will make every attempt to assist patients in scheduling the required appointments at the Washington Navy Yard.
Sick call hours are 0700-1030 and 1230-1400 Monday through Friday, except there is no afternoon sick call on Wednesdays.
Routine exams and emergencies will be seen during sick call hours on a walk-in basis, no appointments are required to be seen during sick call.
Overseas screening for family members must be scheduled by calling the clinic or stopping at the front desk. Overseas screenings are performed on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 1400.
All patients must have a dental record to receive treatment. Please bring your record to all scheduled appointments.
Emergency treatment after hours is handled by the National Naval Dental Center, Bethesda, Maryland.
Scheduling appointments at the Annex Dental Clinic: Appointments are scheduled two weeks in advance. Appointment books will be opened every Monday at 0700. Appointments will be scheduled until the respective week's appointments are filled. Waiting lists for treatment have been discontinued due to their ineffectiveness.
