The Family Support Center Transition Assistance program assists
individuals with their search for employment within the local area and
beyond. Assistance is offered with all aspects of the job search
process.
With over one hundred companies located within five
miles of Hanscom AFB, there are many full-time employment opportunities in a
wide range of occupations. Many local employers send job vacancy announcements
to the Family Support Center on a regular basis. These announcements are posted
in our Employment and Relocation Resource Center daily for any interested
parties to view and act upon.
A list of employment websites
is routinely updated and available to assist job seekers to find opportunities
world-wide.
Seminars are offered training job seekers in all the skills
needed to find employment. A week long seminar is offered once
monthly for active duty military transitioning from military to civilian sector
employment.
