The Education Center on base does not offer non-credit adult
education courses for personal enrichment, nor does it offer GED testing or
classes in test preparation.
The Education Center is an official DANTES
Testing Center. Clep tests are administered on Thursday at 0800 and
1100 and Friday at 0800. Many of the tests are available for any
session, but a few are specially ordered or are only given on special/national
test dates. Most tests are administered without charge to military
personnel (retest may incur a fee). Dependents and civilians are eligible to
take some of the tests but must pay testing fees.
The
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), and the American College Test (ACT) are
administered at special times each year. There is no charge to
military personnel for the first administration of the test. For a complete list

Area towns have day and evening non-credit classes available in
a wide variety of subjects including: fine arts, crafts, ESL, self-improvement,
business, travel, cooking, computers, and much more. They are usually
offered at local academic and vocational/technical high schools. The
Education Center on base has current brochures.Please refer to the community

The Family Support Center
(FSC) has FREE, self-paced instructional computer programs in its Employment and
Relocation Resource Center. Tutorial programs
available include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Outlook, typing instruction, and more. Stop by the FSC, 20
