Care", this section provides information about off-base, part-day, educational
programs for pre-school age children. Parents needing information for childcare
should refer to the "Family Issues" topic of this file.

A half-day pre-kindergarten program is available for
children who are at least 4 years old on September 1 and who are eligible
because they cannot speak/understand English, because they are homeless or in
foster care, or because they are economically disadvantaged. If you think your
child/ren are eligible, contact the school principal.

Start is comprehensive child development programs that serves children from
birth to age 5, pregnant women, and their families. They are child-focused
programs and have the overall goal of increasing the school readiness of young
children in income-eligible families.
