Civilian Contractors are given more opportunities than ever
before to have employees under contract on the installation to perform a
service. Although some of the contractors are listed, although that does not
guarantee they will still be working after you arrive. It is a good
idea to contact the Civilian Personnel Office as well as the Family Support
Center and check for a listing of currently available
opportunities.
Contractors on base vary from construction, janitorial,
grounds maintenance, etc. The Family Member Employment Consultant at the Family
Support Center maintains a listing of Department of Defense contractors at Grand
Forks, including Point of Contact information.
