The Community Home finding Relocation and Referral Services
(CHRRS) office can help those needing off-post housing assistance. This office
provides counseling
and guidance in finding suitable, affordable housing. You
can obtain a list of homes for rent or sales, an area map and other housing
related material. Also, you can get information on the Military Deposit Waiver
Program.
If you are taking permissive TDY for house hunting, be sure to
have your leave form (DA form 31) stamped by the CHRRS Office before starting
permissive TDY. If not, you may be charged leave for that period.
