SHIPMENTS WITHIN CONUS
UNIFORMED SERVICE MEMBERS - Limited
authority for POV shipment within CONUS when medically unable to drive, homeport
change, or not enough time to drive.
DoD CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES - DoD
component may authorize/ approve the transportation of one or more POVs incident
to a PCS within CONUS or travel to a first PDS within CONUS when advantageous
and cost effective to the Government.
SHIPMENTS
OCONUS
UNIFORMED SERVICE MEMBERS - May be authorized transportation for
one POV incident to a PCS to an OCONUS PDS, between OCONUS PDSs and
upon return to the U.S. May also be authorized shipment
for a replacement POV during any 4 year period.
DoD CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES -
May be authorized transportation of one POV incident to a PCS to an OCONUS PDS
and upon return to the U.S. May also be authorized shipment for a
replacement POV within a period of four years from the date the first POV was
shipped overseas. May be authorized transportation for one or more POVs between
OCONUS PDSs

eligibility and/or arrange shipment of your POV to Fort Stewart. For
