Personnel arriving with an exceptional family member should
contact the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) coordinator upon
arrival. The office is located in building 4700 Mow-Way Road,
580-442-6801.
The EFMP is designed to provide assistance to the children and
adult dependents of eligible military personnel. These are individual
cases and should be referred to the EFMP so that all services and education may
be coordinated for the inbound personnel. Dependents who are
emotionally, physically, mentally challenged are provided treatment under this
program. This assistance may be in the line of counseling, special
medical or educational assistance, and financial
assistance.
The EFMP coordinator acts as a liaison between
the family and community agencies The EFMP coordinator maintains a
listing of on- and off-base resources to assist families with all areas of need.
