Fort Sill has several installations that are within driving distance:  Five in Oklahoma and one in Texas.  Directions to the sites are as follows:

U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma -

Depart Fort Sill, OK on I44 going toward Oklahoma City.  Take the Airport Road exit on the left to Meridian.  Turn north on Meridian to 300 North Meridian (on the left).

McAlester Army Ammunition Plant - McAlester, Oklahoma -

Depart Fort Sill on I44 East toward Oklahoma City.  Travel 45 miles.  Turn off onto U.S. 81 toward Ninnekah south for 3 miles. Turn left onto SR19 East toward Lindsay for 49 miles.  At Pauls Valley, OK, stay on SR19 NE for 32 miles toward Stratford.  Go onto SR3 East for 3 miles toward Ada.  At Ada, go onto U.S. 377 East for 1 mile toward Seminole.  Turn right onto SR1 East for 31 miles.  At Calvin, bear right onto US270 East for 31 miles.  Turn right onto U.S. Highway 69 until you see an exit for U.S. Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK.

Vance Air Force Base, Enid, Oklahoma

Depart Fort Sill on I44 East traveling toward Oklahoma City for 45 miles.  Turn off onto U.S. 81 for 105 miles north toward Yukon.  Before you arrive in Enid, OK, you will see an exit on your left for Vance Air Force Base.

Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma

Depart Fort Sill on I44 East going north.  After you arrive in Oklahoma City, turn right onto I40.  Continue on I40 until you see an exit for Tinker Air Force Base, which is exit 157C.

Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma

Depart Fort Sill going south on I44.  Take the Cache Road exit on the right.  Then take the right lane at the Y, onto U.S. 62.  Travel 58 miles.  Shortly after entering Altus, you will see an exit for Altus Air Force base.

Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas

From Fort Sill, travel on I44 south toward Wichita Falls, TX.  Shortly after you enter the city limits of Wichita Falls, you will see an exit on the right for Sheppard Air Force Base.
