Junction City and Manhattan both have a variety of shopping opportunities in the local communities. When shopping in these locations one will find a variety of "Name Brand Stores" and a larger variety of family owned businesses.
Manhattan does have a mall that includes Dillard's, JC Penny and Sears as the larger department stores. If one wishes to shop in larger malls, then there will be a distance of travel to Wichita, Topeka or Kansas City.
Eating establishments vary as the shopping locations. Currently Junction City has more fast food establishments than the dining in restaurants.
