The Employment Readiness Program provides information and
referral service in the areas of employment, education and volunteer
opportunities. This is the Family Members link to public and private sector,
Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC), Non-appropriated Fund (NAF), Army Air
Force Exchange Service (AAFES) and commissary employment
opportunities. Services are provided to active duty, retirees,
Reserve and National Guard, Department of Defense (DoD) civilian personnel and
all of their family members. Appointments are
required.
FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES: Fort Riley, Junction
City and Manhattan each have a Post Office. Fort Riley has many Civil
Service jobs and Manhattan has a Federal Building.
STATE AND COUNTY
AGENCIES: Junction City and Manhattan have Social and Rehabilitation
Services, schools and hospitals. Manhattan houses Kansas State
University and the Social and Administration building.
