Fort Riley's Child Development Center (CDC), Family Child Care (FCC) and School Age Services (SAS) programs are DoD certified. The Child Development Center and several Family Child Care homes are nationally accredited. All programs that are offered through Child and Youth Services (CYS) are processed through Central Enrollment Registry. All patrons must be registered through CER.

Central Enrollment Registry (CER)- offers you a one-stop office to register your children and youth in Child and Youth Services programs. Active duty military personnel, DoD civilian personnel, reservist on active duty, retirees, and DoD contractors are eligible to register for these programs and services when registered into the program.
Up-to-date immunization records, one emergency designee and your families current income statements are necessary to complete the registration process for full-day and part-day programs. Program fees are based on DoD fee guidelines. All fees except hourly care fees are based on your total family income.

Child Development Center (CDC)- Full-day care, part-day Preschool and hourly care services are available in the center. Full-day care is open Monday - Friday from 0600-1800 hours. Part-day preschool is offered in the morning from 0830-1130 hours and in the afternoon from 1300-1600 hours Monday - Friday and classes are available 2,3 or 5 days a week.
*Age requirements are 6 weeks to 5 years of age
*All programs offered in CDC are on going. You must give a 2-week notice to drop your child from the program.

Family Child Care (FCC) - This program certifies spouses and their on-post homes for childcare. The providers completed the same background check and training requirements as the staff working in other Child and Youth Services programs.
*Age requirements are 4 weeks to 12 years of age
*FCC is an on going program, and you must give a 2 weeks notice to drop your child

SAS - School Age Services- Our School Age Services program consists of before and after school care, full-day care on "no- school" days and summer camp for children in Kindergarten - 5th grade. Bus transportation is available to and from all five Fort Riley Elementary School and St Xavier School in Junction City. This program is open from 0600 - 1800 hours Monday - Friday and closed on Federal Holidays.
*To register, your child must be enrolled in school (K-5th)
*SAS has 2 programs, one that follows the entire school year, and the Summer Camp that covers the summer months.

Any children with a special need will need to work with the Child Development Center (CDC) and the Exceptional Family Member Coordinator (EFMP) at Army Community Service (ACS).
