Child Development Services (CDS) reflects the philosophy of the
National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). CDS recognizes
the importance of accepting each child as an individual with unique strengths
and talents.
Child Development Services provides developmental programs
to nurture each child's physical, emotional, social and cognitive
skills. This is the standard in all programs. Parents will find no
differences in the quality of programs they select. Center and Family Child Care
providers participate in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program, which
ensures each child, receives healthy meals and snacks at no additional cost to
the parent. With the exception of Hourly Care, Center-based programs offer a 20%
sibling discount to the oldest child (note: no discount is provided to the
youngest child in the family). Tuition payments may be made monthly or
semi-monthly (twice a month). As an incentive, a slight discount is given for
patrons paying on a monthly basis. All center-based fees are derived
from Total Family Income (TFI) and single enrollment plus income per annum. The
School Age Service Program is a before, after and full day care program for
children 6-12 years of age (1st - 6th grade). It's goal is to ensure
children/youth experience positive individual and group activities with adults
and peers that complement rather than duplicate the school day. The
SAS program provides educational and recreational activities which support
children's/youth's need for positive social, emotional, physical, and cognitive
growth and development. The SAS Program provides children/youth the
opportunity to learn more about their existing interests and skills and to
explore new interests and develop new skills.
