Practical Nurse positions at Fort Polk must be currently licensed to practice as
a practical or vocational nurse in a State or Territory of the United States, or

To be employed off the military
installation, out-of-state licensed nurses must have a Louisiana
license. When contacting the State licensing agency, be sure to ask
about Louisiana's Reciprocity Agreement with your particular
state. Generally, a copy of your current state license and a
certified copy of your school transcript will be required when
