transportation. It is the beneficiary of an outstanding network of
interstate, state, county and local roads that make it a desirable location for
businesses and private residences as well as an ideal destination for
vacationers. The Garden State Parkway, including 29 miles and seven
interchanges in the county, easily accesses all the resorts
communities. Interstate 195, U.S. Route 9, and States routes 18, 33,

Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway run north to
south, as does the more central Route 34. Routes 35, 36, and 71
concentrate on the more developed coastal areas. Freehold and the
southern coastal areas are connected by Route 33, which also connects near the
coast with Route 66, and route 33 leads to the New Jersey Turnpike and Route

Brunswick, Route 18 is the right connection. Route 79 connects
Matawan and Freehold. The impressive Interstate 195 with Route 138
