All newly assigned military personnel must report to the
Community Homefinding Relocation and Referral Service (CHRRS), prior to making
any housing selection in the off post community, or prior to entering into any
lease. The CHRRS is the soldier's guide to off post
housing. Individual counseling and personal attention to specific
housing needs ensures a wise decision regarding housing
choices.
Apartments, condos, townhouses, and houses are readily available
to rent in one, two, three, and four bedroom units. There are very
few furnished apartments or houses in the area. A personal briefing
is given to each person to assist with becoming familiar with all aspects of
living off post in the Atlanta area. The listings of rental and sales
properties are located in one room of the CHRRS office which is open until 2330
daily, as well as Saturdays and Sundays.
