The Waynesville/St. Robert communities have several small
shopping centers. The fairly new St. Robert Blvd. has a new Super
Wal-Mart which also has grocery, there are several other shops and eating
establishments also located on St. Robert Blvd. Smitty's, located in
Waynesville, is a large super market and there are also several shops located in
and around the Ichord Shopping Center. There are several restaurants that offer
traditional and international cuisines.
The Lake of the
Ozarks has a large factory outlet mall and is just an hour's drive
away. They also have several specialty houseware/design shops and
antique shops.
The smaller towns of Dixon, Richland and Crocker have a
variety of small mom and pop establishments and antique shops.
St. Robert
and Waynesville offer many bargains with an abundance of yard/garage sales and
auctions.
The larger towns of Rolla and Lebanon are located approximately
1/2 hour from Fort Leonard Wood and also offer a variety of shopping and dining
opportunities.
Missouri sales tax is 4.225, most towns also charge a
local sales tax and some also have a tourism tax.
