     The Fort Lee community has access to a number of leisure activities and facilities both on and offpost.
     On-post opportunities range from fine dining to sports facilities and special interest organizations such as The Fort Lee Theatre Company at Fort Lee.  Most of these activities either fall under the post's MWR directorate or are affiliated with it in some manner.

     The Lee Club provides a country club atmosphere.  Entertainment opportunities for a week include Tuesday Night Special from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and a Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.  The Club is closed on Monday.  For a relaxing evening visit Nothin' Fancy Bar and Grill in the basement Tuesday - Friday beginning at 4 p.m.  They feature free finger food on Thursday and Friday, pool tables and dartboards.  Karaoke Night is on Thursday and Friday features both a DJ and Karaoke.  This is a place for class parties, end-of-course parties or any get-together.  The Lee Club caters to a variety of functions from parties to weddings to military balls.  For more information call 734-7541 or 734-7547.

     The Regimental Club offers a variety of entertainment and events throughout the year.  The club features a lunch buffet (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.) with monthly theme lunch specials.  Catering services are available for military and social functions, wedding receptions, parties, farewells, luncheons, retirements and other events.  The Regimental Club also oversees the Regimental Nest where parties to include weddings and wedding receptions, may be catered.  The lounge is open Monday, 4:30 p.m. until midnight and Wednesday thru Saturday, 4:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. (closed Sunday).  The club is closed for normal operations on Tuesday.  Bingo is a big draw at the Regimental Club on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6:45 p.m.

     The Regimental Rest & Recreation Center features alittle everything for Fort Lee Community. The R & R contains our Bistro Express that offer specialty coffees and breakfast, the Cyber Cafe, Kid Zone and the All-Star Balloon Blossoms & Baskets by Bonnie (Gift Shop), pool tables, video games and much more!!! Come relax with us.  Hours of operation Tue - Thu: 6:30a.m. - 10p.m.,    Fri: 6:30a.m. - Midnight, Sat: Noon - Midnight,          Sun & Holidays: Noon - 8p.m.,Monday: CLOSED
                      
     Auto Crafts has an 18-stall auto repair facility where authorized MWR patrons can perform minor repairs to vehicles.  This self-help facility offers bay space and vehicle lifts with a trained instructor on hand to provide assistance.  Patrons who utilize the facility have access to tools for most auto repairs.  Short and long term vehicle storage is also available through the auto crafts facility.  The hours of operation are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 1-8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

     Custom Frame Shop/Picture Perfect framing facility is the perfect place to have all prints, needlepoint pieces, puzzles and certificates matted and framed.  The staff offers professional service for those who prefer to have the work done for them.  Customers who prefer to do it themselves can take classes to learn the basics of picture framing.  The current hours of operation are Monday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Tuesday & Wednesday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Thursday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Friday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

     The MWR Rental Center rents bikes, camping equipment, cookers, coolers, dunk booths, canopies, volleyball and many other items that help create successful outings.  To help with summer yard work, residents can rent lawnmowers and weed-eaters.  The Rental Center also oversees an outdoor archery range, picnic areas and a shelter, skeet/trap ranges, a Log Cabin for meetings and parties, pistol range, horseshoe and softball fields and Batting Cages.  In addition, the center also has a mobile Rock-Climbing Wall available for units and other special events.  Hours of operation Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sat 8 a.m. - 12 noon; closed on Tuesday, Sunday and Holidays.

     Fort Lee Sports has a diversified program that provides various levels of play and competition with something for nearly everyone.  The intramural program offers cross-country, flag football, basketball, 5k runs, volleyball, track and field, swimming, softball and racquetball.  The Sports Office offers a variety of fitness classes including aerobics, water aerobics, karate and circuit weight training.

     The Batting Cages features five lanes of slow and fast-pitch softball, and medium- and fast-pitch baseball.  Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 5-8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, noon - 6 p.m.

    
    Williams Stadium offers a seating capacity for more than 5,000 and contains a quarter-mile oval track. Nowak Field has a seating capacity of approximately 1,500 people and is used for both softball and flag football.

    MacLaughlin Fitness Center offers spacious men's and women's locker rooms with saunas and a gymnasium for basketball, volleyball and other indoor physical conditioning activities.   Five racquetball/handball courts with a mezzanine viewing area and high and low ceiling, exercise rooms for aerobics, workouts and weightlifting are also available for use.  Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.  The facility is closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

    Clark Fitness Center offers spacious men's and women's locker rooms with saunas and a gymnasium for basketball, volleyball and other indoor sports.  Four racquetball/handball courts are available as well as an exercise room that hosts a variety of aerobic classes.  The facility also has two weight rooms with modern weight equipment.  Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 5:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  The center is closed Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.

    Golden Tans at Fort Lee has two locations. One is inside the MacLaughlin Fitness Center.  Hour of operation are Mon - Fri: 5:30 - 9:30 a.m. & 11a.m. - 9:30p.m., Sat, Sun & Holidays (except Thanksgiving
and Christmas), 8a.m. - 6p.m.  

    Golden Tan #2 is located beside the Fort Lee Bowling Center with two beds.  Hours of operation are   Mon, Wed & Thu:7a.m. - 5p.m., Thu & Fri:7a.m.-8p.m.      Sat & Sun:11a.m. - 6p.m.


  The Battle Drive Pool behind The Lee Club on Battle Drive is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

     The Fort Lee Bowling Center is a smoke-free facility; with a  Pro-Shop offering 24 lanes of AMF BOSS automatic scoring,  Pro-Shop, video games and Snack Bar.  The Snack Bar offers a variety of menu items which include beer/wine.  The Bowling Center hosts children's birthday parties and group outings.  Glow-N-Motion is offered Fridays and Saturdays, 7 p.m. - midnight.  Fall/winter leagues begin in September and spring/summer leagues in May.  The hours of operation are Sunday - Thursday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Friday - Saturday, 11 a.m. - midnight.

     The Cardinal Golf Club has a Pro Shop, Snack Bar, Driving Range, putting green and lockers.  Golf lessons are also available from a golf professional for a nominal fee.  The Cardinal Golf Course uses TELETRAC, the automated Tee Time Reservation System.  The first tee time is 7:30 a.m.  The course is open to active duty military, retired military and DoD civilians, federal government employees, family members their guests and veterans.  The course is open daylight to dusk, seven-days-a-week.  The Pro Shop and Driving Range are open from 7 a.m. until dusk and the Snack Bar from 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and 6:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

     Hunting and fishing opportunities abound throughout the region.  On post, hunting is tracked through the Outdoor Recreation Center.  The center issues permits for both shotgun and bow hunts and can explain the requirements for hunting on post.  In addition to federal and state hunting and fishing regulations, hunters on Fort Lee must also abide by additional military regulations.  Also, rifles are prohibited on Fort Lee for safety reason.

     Fort Lee Playhouse operates live theater and has become one of the most active performing groups in the area, offering three program styles to meet the various entertainment and cultural desires.
     The main stage season produces Broadway musicals, comedies and dramas.  Evening and matinee performances are open to the community.  Season Tickets are offered at the beginning of the main stage season guaranteeing great seating for a year of fine entertainment.  Special shows are performed for our student Soldiers.
     KidKapers is Fort Lee's version of children's theater.  Each show features live theater presentations with music to delight both young and old alike.  Tickets are sold at the box office just prior to the show and are only $4.  
     Participation is the essential ingredient in the Lee Playhouse operation.  Military, family members, DoD civilians and their spouses and those in the surrounding communities are invited to participate.  No stage experience is necessary and all are welcome to audition, perform, work in the technical, back stage capacity or help with audience management.
