Fort Knox offers a variety of events and activities for the entire family and single soldiers.  There are many different recreational pastimes that can be enjoyed on the installation. The Fort Knox (DMWR), Directorate of Morale Welfare and Recreation has some exciting events while you are stationed here. DMWR is located in Bldg 4248 Bullion Boulevard.

RECREATION:  
Fort Knox has several fitness centers, (1) Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool, golf course, and the list goes on. For a complete update on what we offer, visit MWR website: http://www.knoxmwr.com/

There is hunting, fishing, youth sports (soccer, baseball, male and female softball, tennis, golf, basketball, etc.).

For youth, activities visit MWR website under CHILD AND YOUTH SERVICES for an updated list of activities. Fort Knox offers clubs and activities through Youth Services on post.  

The schools offer many choices in clubs.  There is Beta Club, French Club, German Club, Spanish Club, etc.  There are no private clubs in this area.  There may be other clubs through the Youth Center.  Make sure you check with them to see what is available.

There are also opportunities for youth ages 6-10 offered by School Age Services (SAS). It's best to contact SAS at 624-6703 because they offer something special everyday.

The Youth Sports program on post is a year-round operation.  It is dedicated to providing a positive, athletic, personal and social skill-development program to sons, daughters, and grandchildren in the Fort Knox Community.  All registrations are held at Central Registration Office. Individuals should bring proof of child's age, and necessary medical information.  Sign up for sports must be paid in full at the time of registration and must be enrolled 30 days prior. Programs include, but not limited to: soccer, baseball, gymnastics, flag football and more.  

Volunteers are always needed and is a great way to get involved in the community and with your children.

When you arrive, stop by the Devers Youth Center, located at Bulding 5543 Chaffee Avenue and pick up a schedule of registration and season times. It is a wonderful facility with many planned activities.

There is a Water Park behind the Devers Youth Center that has a water slide, pool and wading pool.

There is so much to do and see in this area, you should never be bored.  If you can't find it right here, you certainly can without traveling too far.
