New York City Marathon, Location... Starts at Staten
Island side of Verrazano Bridge, passes by Fort Hamilton and goes through all
five boroughs, it takes place annually in
November.
March: Saint Patrick's Day Parade, On this day,
everyone is Irish! The annual procession marches up past Fifth Avenue past St.
Patrick's Cathedral at 50th Street all the way up past the Metropolitan Museum
of Art at 83rd Street, New York City.
June: Puerto Rican Day
Parade. The parade is always the second Sunday in June,
along Fifth Avenue
from 44th to 86th Streets, New York City.
October: Columbus Day Parade,
is officially observed on the second Monday of October, It takes place on the
world famous Fifth Avenue, New York City.
Raga Muffin Day Parade, Bay
Ridge, Brooklyn
November: Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, takes place on
Thanksgiving Day, New York City. The Parade begins at 77th Street
& Central Park West at 9am.
When the Parade reaches Columbus Circle (59th
Street), it turns on to Broadway. Heading down Broadway, the Parade marches
through Times Square and down to 34th Street where it turns at Macy's Herald
Square and ends on Seventh Avenue at around noon.

Long Island, or Connecticut beaches, and various state parks, lakes and
