The Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is a mandatory
enrollment program which works closely with the civilian community agencies to
provide medical, educational, special housing accommodations and support to
families with special needs.
Within the State of Maryland there are
various organizations devoted to individuals with special
needs.
Maryland Family Voices is a statewide grassroots
network of families speaking on behalf of children with special health care
needs.
EFMConnections is a public service provided by the
Deputy Under Secretary of Defense Military Community and Family
Policy.
