The Fort Meade Dental Clinic Command provides dental service in
accordance with current directives. There are three dental facilities
on Fort Meade:
EPES Dental Clinic, Building 8472, Simonds
St.
Dental Clinic #3, Llewellyn Ave (located in the Kimbrough Ambulatory
Care Center)
ELIGIBILITY
Active Duty personnel are authorized care
at Fort Meade dental clinics and may make appointments by the phone or in
person. Active Duty personnel always receive priority. Family members
of active duty personnel who are eligible to use the TRICARE Active Duty Family
Member Dental Plan (FMDP) are required to use the plan for dental coverage.
Active-duty family members not covered by the FMDP, as well as family members of
retirees, may receive care on a very limited space available basis. No scheduled
appointments are permitted and available space is limited. Hours of
operation for dental clinics are MONDAY through FRIDAY, 7:30 to 11:20 a.m. and
12:30 to 4:20 p.m.
AFTER HOURS EMERGENCIES
A dentist is available
on an on-call basis for dental emergencies MONDAY through FRIDAY until 10 p.m.
and SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS and HOLIDAYS, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Personnel in
need of emergency dental care after 10 p.m., MONDAY through FRIDAY, or before 10
a.m. and after 3:30 p.m. on SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS and HOLIDAYS should call the
Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center Staff Duty NCO (SDNCO) for

Dental
sick call is MONDAY to FRIDAY, 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at Epes Dental Clinic and
Dental Clinic #3 (Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center). Epes Dental
Clinic is for active-duty military personnel only. Family members are
seen at Dental Clinic #3 on an emergency basis only.
