Incoming personnel may contact the CDS Central Registration
number, listed below, for information regarding child
care. Registration can be accepted over the phone and placed in a
projected demand status which is to be updated when the sponsor
arrives. Registration date for the waiting list is based on the date
the child was placed on the projected waiting list. In age groups
where a long wait might be expected, the earlier registration date can be very
helpful. Unborn may also be placed on the projected demand list. CDS
Enrollment Procedures: To enroll, bring the following: ID
cards(s) to verify eligibility and up-to-date shot records. A $15.00
registration fee is due upon enrollment.School-Age Services (SAS) provide a
before and after school program for children ages 6-12 years. SAS is
designed for families with children needing care before and after school and on
school closures. A Summer Day Camp Program is offered during the
summer months.
School age care is available through the Youth Services
Before and After School Program, through various after school programs at most
of the area elementary schools, and through the Family Child Care Program. (See
CHILD CARE PROGRAMS ON THE INSTALLATION). Program fees are subject to

SCHOOL SUMMER DAY CAMP
A 9-week
summer program is offered in 2 week sessions ending with a one week
mini-session. Program hours are 8a.m. to 4p.m., Monday through Friday
for ages 6-13 years. Programs include crafts, sports, field trips,
songs, and entertainment. Parents must provide their children
lunches. Youth Services will provide snacks and drinks. Before camp
care and after camp care hours (6:30a.m. to 5:30p.m.) are available. Fees are
