All public special education programs are coordinated through the
Pemberton Township School District.
Special education students are
registered at the Central Registration Office with the same registration
requirements listed under Education "Overview." The Central
Registration Office will assign a case manager who will meet the parent and
arrange the student's class placement and transportation to/from
school
There are a variety of specialized schools for special
needs children within an hour commute of Fort Dix. Information on these
specialized schools is available through the Exceptional Family Member Program
Office at the Army Community Service Center.
