The 305 th Medical Group Ambulatory Health Care Clinic (AHCC) is
located behind the Fort Dix/McGuire Exchange complex, 3458 Neely Road, provides
outpatient care.
INPATIENT SERVICES - AHCC has joined Virtua Memorial
Hospital of Burlington County in an agreement to provide Inpatient military
health care in a civilian hospital. Dependents will receive Inpatient
Care at Virtua Memorial Hospital by Virtua or military
physicians. All costs for active-duty military members will be
covered by the military. There is no charge for Inpatient Care for
family members of active duty military. Please check with the Health
Benefits Advisory Office at the AHCC for current information.
This new
agreement will allow military members and beneficiaries to have access to a
first-class modern facility and all the support services that a large,
comprehensive hospital can provide.
Wirtua Memorial Hospital is a 305
community hospital with an intensive care unit and cardiac care
unit. It is affiliated with Fox Chase Cancer Center, one of 27
specially designated cancer institutes in the country. This
affiliation allows military patients to have access to the latest in cancer
research, prevention and treatment.
Virtua Memorial Hospital has a new
Maternity Unit for use by AHCC beneficiaries. Virtua Memorial
Hospital is located in Mount Holly about a twenty-minute drive from Fort
Dix.
TRICARE benefits have recently undergone significant changes,
including new healthcare options. For current information on TRICARE
options and enrollment for active duty, retirees, and family members please

305mdg.patientadv@mcguire.af.mil. Hours Monday - Friday, 0730-1630,
closed the first Thursday of the month at 1200 for
training.
EMERGENCY SERVIES: Services for "true"
emergencies are not available through the 305 Med Group AHCC. AHCC does provide
ambulance service to Fort Dix. Please contact the clinic at (609)
562-9000 for current hours of operation as they may change over
time. If you have an urgent medical concern, contact the Primary Care
Clinic during the hours noted. If you have a bona-fide medical
emergency, CALL 911 or GO TO THE NEAREST CIVILIAN EMERGENCY ROOM.
