Fort Dix has three nearby military installations.
Fort
Monmouth is about one hour and fifteen minutes drive from Fort Dix. From ACS
parking lot turn right onto 8th St. Make a right on New Jersey Ave. At blinking
light (old Walson Army Hospital will be to your right) make a left to traffic
Circle exit at ROUTE 68. At intersection with ROUTE 537 make a right.
ROUTE 537 will take you past Great Adventure, Freehold, Colts Neck, and Tinton
Falls. Half mile past the blinking light in Tinton Falls, ROUTE 537
take a left turn at the red traffic light. Continue 2 miles across
ROUTE 35 to Gate of Ft Monmouth.
McGuire AFB is adjacent to Fort Dix.
Left out of ACS parking lot onto 8th St., left on Texas Ave. At the
first traffic light bear to the right to main gate on the right.
NAWC
Lakehurst USN is about half an hour drive from Army Community
Service. Left out of ACS parking lot, right on Texas Ave. towards
Browns Mills. Follow ROUTE 530 to ROUTE 70 East to Lakehurst (about
10 miles.) Make a left at ROUTE 547.
