Spouse preference for Appropriated Fund Positions is afforded
only through the DoD Priority Placement Program. In order to be
eligible, the spouse must be already serving on an accepted appointment overseas
or on a career-conditional appointment at the time the PCS orders are
issued. The spouse must be placed on leave without pay or be
separated from his/her appointment due to PCSing in order to receive spouse
preference priority placement consideration.
Registration for departing
spouses may be accomplished 30 days prior to sponsor's reporting date at the new
duty station. An appointment for registration may be obtained by
calling the Civilian Personnel Center at (609) 562-2998/2507/DSN
944-2998/2507.
Appropriated and Non appropriated Fund jobs at Fort Dix
are few. However, a few job openings do become available
periodically. A new job announcement list is posted on the
