As Colorado Springs
has grown and spread out, so have its health care providers. Gone are
the days when a visit to the doctor or the hospital automatically meant going to
the heart of the city (although that's where our biggest hospitals are still
located). Now, freestanding clinics, outpatient surgical centers,
rehabilitation hospitals, large group practices, women's health centers, and
other medical facilities are located virtually everywhere people live and
